  • Renovation of garden
    I found Karl on Problem Solved and after contacting many other companies, I found him the best value for money and most approachable. He put up new fences and decking in two parts of my garden. He also painted this for a very small charge which was an added bonus. Once he had finished the job, I also asked if he knew anyone who could connect an outdoor tap in my garden. Within 3 hours he had done this! What a superb job and axcellent value for money. I will certainly be recommending to all my friends!

  • Bathroom renovation
    Karl and Jason worked incredibly hard to get this installation together over a 4 week period. This involved plumbing, tiling, joinery and carpentry, painting and decorating. They left everything clean and tidy each day and made good everything. Karl did a really good job and I can depend on him to think about finishing, suggest better ideas than I had to make it look smarter, and he's very reliable. They start around 8am, which means they're working hard all day, and I could trust him to take deliveries, lock up and take care of my house - all essentials but rare to find. Nice job Karl; top bathroom!!! Mel

  • sliding doors, kitchen fitting, cupboard fitting
    Karl and James are almost part of the furniture and I can trust them in my house completely even when I'm not around; they just get on with the job. They've fitted a new kitchen, built sliding doors and fitted cupboards either side of a mantelpiece and everything looks great with good attention to detail. Karl seems to be able to turn his hand to many things, so next up is to rip out and replace our bathroom...hate the bit while they're working (although they do keep it pretty clean), can't wait for the results. Good pricing, fair for the work involved, and good ideas to get around funny quirks of our house. Recommend highly

  • Karl gave me a reasonable quote to sand, stain and varnish floorboards and turned up on time, and finished within deadline. He also turned his hand to sorting out some other bits and pieces and did a great job on fitting our new door. We would recommend his work.

  • Following a recent burlgary at our branch office - Karl attended immediately and made the office secure by fitting a new rear door, security lighting and a new lock to the front door. I recommend him highly. He is polite and diligent and left the premises in a clean condition. John Hooper
