“Our unique wood shutters have become that extra bit special in January by being awarded full FSC approval. In short, this means that our entire operation has been independently assessed by the Forest Stewardship Council. This process was very detailed and took several months but was worth it!
This means that our customers can buy our shutters knowing that from the planting of the first sapling right through to the end product, our shutters have been made from legally harvested wood, sourced from ethically managed forests. Having our own dedicated production facility ensures that we have direct control of our product and our supply chain, central to which is the wood used to make our plantation shutters. Our customers are therefore able to buy our shutters safe in the knowledge that they’re buying arguably the best shutter available but that it’s manufacture has had no negative impact on the planet.”
While budget constraints have taken precedence over environmental concerns of late, Shutterly Fabulous has committed to keep prices competitive.
“There have been cost implications for us in moving to a fully FSC approved shutter. However though having direct control of all aspects of our operation, we avoid many traditional retail costs. We’ve therefore managed to retain exceptionally competitive pricing but improve the product we give to your customers.”
