Have you used this tradesperson? wouldn't use again Lucas really did a poor job and let himself down. Firstly he choose to paint in the rain. This meant his paint peeled off within a few weeks. He didn't clear up after himself and left his rubbish behind.
After a just a few weeks his work started peeling. After dozen of phone calls and texts he finally came to do a reqpiar job, this itself was very poor (e.g. no undercoat used) and dripped paint everywhere.
I am sorry to say it, but I would avoid using him

Reviewed by christopher on July 21, 2011 Home Decor Lucas Handyman Service decorated two bedrooms and a staircase area over a three day period. The work carried out was very satisfactory and I intend to employ the service again at a later date.

Reviewed by Alan Thorpe on March 30, 2011 Lucas Handyman Services I initially contracted Lucas Handyman Services to paint four bedrooms. Upon completing this I then contracted him for the following:
Bathroom installation – bath and electrical shower
Fitting lights
Replacing rotten boards, cladding with plasterboard
Basic plastering
Fitting of dishwasher
Tiling
Fitting lead flashing on roof
I found him to be punctual, trustworthy (held house keys and accepted deliveries) and honest in his quotes (I crossed reference all his quotes). He was able to work unsupervised, independently, communicate any issues immediately and rectify any issues I had with the finish of the job.
Overall I was very pleased with Lucas Handy Man Services, which saw me extend his contract for services, as he was able to get the job done while I was at work and he generally made every effort to meet my expectations.
I will continue to use and recommend Lucas Handyman Services.
