The work itself was carried out in accordance with the agreed brief on time and to budget: all the while Andrew kept us fully informed via telephone and email contact which was of great comfort as we are resident in the UK. Where unexpected issues cropped up (or where we requested additions) Andrew gave us ideas and options, together with associated cost implications. We recently had a short break in Abruzzo and found the quality of work was as good as we had hoped for from the photos, with everywhere left tidy and clean. We had a problem with damp in our living room area of new property and Craftsmen of Abruzzo helped improve drainage at rear of house by building a strong retaining wall and drainage to channel excess water away from the rear wall of the house. In addition, Andrew Dill and his team repaired our sewage drains running from house to septic tank after it was discovered that there was no connecting pipe for the sewage to flow away from the property and which most probably exacerbated the damp problem. Photos were sent to us at every stage of work and the team left the property in a clean and tidy state. Andrew was always very pleasant to deal with. I used this firm firstly for landscaping the garden of my house in Penne, Abruzzo, Italy. They did a 1st class job and were a pleasure to deal with after numerous false starts with italian builders. I then asked them to quote for building me a garage and BBQ area. Their quote was very reasonable and I proceeded. Thankfully I did, the workmanship was of a very high quality and the price never changed (something that always seems to happen with italian builders in my experience). Craftsmen of Abruzzo carried out the conversion of a bathroom at our property in Penne. We are very happy with the experience from beginning to end. The initial quotation was detailed, fully explained and was the final price paid. Before work began the project was fully discussed and the specifications clearly agreed. As the work was in progress we were fully consulted on any unexpected issues even through we were in England at the time. Only after our agreement had been obtained was the change implemented. Great attention was paid to ensuring that whilst the work was in progress the rest of our property was kept dust and disruption free. When the work was completed our property was left extremely clean and tidy. The work was completed on time and the quality of the work cannot be faulted. The after service is also worthy of note and the few minor issues that emerged when the bathroom was back in use, were resolved very quickly and professionally. Few years ago we bought a property in Italy, Abruzzo, near the GranSasso.
