Liam has become valued contractor to us and has done another excellent job of sorting out a broken pipe, quickly and effectively and then relaying the laminate flooring.

My father-in-law needed his kitchen sink completely replacing and the sink and bath taps replacing in the bathroom. Liam found us exactly what he wanted and fitted them incredibly quickly and efficiently. Will defintely be using TAS again in the future.

I have lived in my flat for 10 years - Liam and Nagiza came and did all those little jobs that no other builder seems interested in doing for you - changing light fittings, resolving a leak in a velux window, repairing damaged woodwork, sprucing up the bathroom, sanding a floor, revanishing worksurfaces...Nagiza also redecorated some rooms to a very high standard. All delivered on budget - a miracle!

Liam fixed a leak in our central heating system that was going to cause damage to the kitchen. He always responds to calls, comes when he says he will and gives excellent on the phone support as well.

We had a double glazed window pane smashed in our front window. We called on a Friday afternoon and Liam came out to see it as soon as he was able to on the following Monday. Only one pane had smashed but we decided to have three panes replaced so that the more substantial security glass Liam recommended looked smarter and also because he charged a flat daily rate whether we had one replaced or three. He was very helpful and the window was repaired quickly. It was a messy job but Liam disposed of all the debris effectively. We are pleased with the new glass, it is a great improvement.

I've lived in London nearly 30 years and I thought a good, reliable and reasonably priced builder was an urban myth (or existed only on TV DIY shows). Husband and wife team Liam and Nagiza of TAS Construction put me right on that. They, and their team, put in a new kitchen (knocking together 2 rooms), new boiler, new windows, repaired a flat roof, sorted out the gutters, sourced and installed garden railings, and put a digital aerial on the roof. With all that there were inevitably disagreements. But everything was always sorted out to my satisfaction. No surprises. No cutting corners. They are not cheap – if you’re looking for cheap and not very cheerful bodgers go elsewhere - but were cheaper than my other quotes, and they are very good value for money. I would recommend to others.

The banisters covering the stairs were thin thus causing concerns about its safety. Liam kindly sourced new spindles, fitted and painted them to a high standard. He even added a half-newel post and cap just to complete the look and add some character. I’m really pleased and above-all the area is now safe. Thank you.

I had lost my ring as it fell through a hole in between the floor and skirting board (sounds unbelievable I know) and Liam was available at short notice and retrieved the ring by opening the skirting board. The skirting board looked as good as before - brilliant service!

Liam and his team came to our rescue when we had a burst pipe and a small baby! They came round and fixed the leak, put new flooring down and redecorated the room. They were friendly, efficient, good value and worked to a high standard.

Once again we were able to call upon Liam - at very short notice, to take care of some general repairs (including paint & decorate, mend/re-grout kitchen floor/bathroom tiles, re-seal windows and make good general faults). Jocef was great, he did everything I asked and more. The flat looks lovely again. Thank you both.

After finding Liam's company, TAS, here on problemsolved.co.uk we haven't looked back. Not only that, we haven't looked at crusty old sash windows, doors that refused to work, window sills without sills and the most awkward space to create a desk. Instead we have solutions to these problems way beyond our expectations. The attention to detail by Liam and his team is something incredibly rare these days, it seems, but simple to find by getting these guys on-board. No one stopped for a breath until they were happy that we were happy, and if by asking the craftsmen of my new bespoke desk (from which I am typing this review) to sign the underneath is anything to go by then hopefully anyone reading this will be prompted to obtain their services. Incredible value for money, talent, passion and love for their work. (I will be sending photos of the work so hopefully they will add them to the gallery here)

I was very impressed with the work carried out by Liam and the TAS Construction team. It was first class and they even went beyond the original job spec and installed further damp proofing measures at no extra cost. All in all I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

I just bought a flat, which needed some work to be done. After asking for 3 quotes, Liam was not only the fastest to reply, but also his quote was the most competitive. he fitted some wooden floor, skirting, recess lights, doors (a lot of carpentry work was done), bespoke shelving for a wardrobe, etc......he did everything! And the quality of the work is great, some friends who visited me recently and who are also refurbishing a flat were extremely impressed by the finishing. Also, Liam and his team are very friendly and trustworthy. I want him to take care of my next project (bathroom)...if my neighboors dont keep him too busy!

Was in desperate need of an experienced, reliable and trustworthy builder to make good a botched tiling job. Well, I found him!! We had heavy leaking via the external steps which was causing damp in the flat below. Liam was great, responded quickly to my initial enquiry, was able to visit and provide a quote within a week. After having some dodgey plumbers install our bathroom with no access panels in case of a leak - he figured out a way to create access panels without breaking the tiles. Also changed cold water from tank to mains. Really dedicated to his work and goes above the call of duty to not only do the required repairs but also to fix potential problems before they occur such as reenforcing unstable frames.

We are extremely grateful to Liam (once again) for helping us to sort out the mishaps that a boiler installer left behind. Liam always delivers good quality jobs and is always willing to listen to his client's concerns and think outside the box to come up with professional solutions. Liam laid wooden (bamboo) flooring throughout my 1-bedroom flat. I'm really happy with the result and would definitely recommend him to people I know. Our project, a small charity, needed someone to do some internal partitioning and improvements to our office space. We didn’t know much about having building works done and were wary of not getting things right and of not getting value for money. We needn’t have worried. We struck lucky. Liam was prompt, efficient and flexible and built up a rapport with the staff team so he could be sure during the job that everything was going OK and we were happy with the work.
