Shane is fantastic. He turned out promptly to look at the job and sorted out a stuck valve on a radiator whilst he was here, without charge (another company had quoted £70 an hour to look at it)! He arrived on time on a wet Saturday morning, fitted our replacement shower and sink taps for a very reasonable rate, did a beautiful job and left the place clean and tidy, all whilst giving me useful tips on DIY. He also made friends with our cats - always a good sign. We are certainly going to use him again for plastering and painting and any other jobs needed and would recommend him highly. Great service at a great price!

Shane did a list of jobs in my kitchen and bathroom. He placed vinyl flooring in kitchen and bathroom. He tiled in the kitchen. My kitchen had been poorly fitted by a large national firm so I asked him to make cosmetic improvements that were well done. In the bathroom he fitted the new bath panel, repaired the shower rail and fitted a mirrored cabinet. He also smoothed areas of the wall that had been left unsightly after a large company rewired the property. He was clean and very tidy. I have to say he represents excellent value for money and has turned out to be much better than any of the big guns that I have used or received (usually late) quotes from. He turns up when he says he will, he does not make changes without obtaining the customer's agreement. Finally because he is an ex-model maker his attention to detail is much better than his competitors. Shame small companies like this don't get the press they deserve. I will definitely use Shane's services in the future.

Shane has worked for us on many occasions over the last 5 years and has often had to make good other builders mistakes. His painting and decorating skills are first class and he can turn his hand to any building work required. He is a perfect tiler, kitchen and bathroom fitter and an excellent carpenter. I recommend him highly.

A real grafter, Shane was on the doorstep first thing and stayed until the job was done. Gave a VERY comptetive quote and was not afraid to do a bit of sanding on our ceiling even if we hadn't asked him to. All this individual was concerned with was a professional finish and getting the job done on time, which he accomplished impeccably. Would recommend him to anyone.

I have used Shane Davies of Home Improvements for a number of different jobs on my house over the last 5-10 years and have always been delighted with his work. The work he has done for me has been mostly carpentry but he has also done plumbing, some electrics and decorating. He is an excellent all-rounder and perfect for any client who needs a good all-rounder - what used to be called a "handyman".
