A South London company relies heavily on its electricity supply. Electricity runs the life support equipment needed to keep their thousands of fish tanks with air and water flow 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The cost to the livestock held on their premises should the mains supply fail is unthinkable. Elektratek were commisioned to come up with a solution. Mains monitoring and new control equipment was installed along with two 200KvA Generators as backup. The complete system is automated, so if a problem is detected with the supply, the mains is disconnected and a generator run up to speed. This whole process takes under 20 seconds to complete. The ability to swap generators with computer monitoring of fuel supplies and other technical data to monitor the installation was designed and fitted by our staff installing state of the art equipment. This ongoing project can be seen on our webstite at www.elektratek.co/casestudy.php.
