So after a hectic few weeks for the Government & Energy Saving Trust's scrappage scheme where Radio 4 described it as "in utter chaos" the scheme seems to be sorting itself out.
In the first three weeks of the scheme we carried out 35-40 quotes in and around London for interested parties, many of whom had applied immediately as the scheme was launched. Since application most of these clients struggled to speak to anyone at the EST to receive an update on their applicationand their emails were seemingly ignored.
Although this had caused some initial consternation we now seem to be making progress and some customers have received their £400.00 voucher towards the cost of a new boiler!
Our first confirmed jobs under the scheme are booked in for the w/c 01/02/2010.
