Eric undertook a variety of jobs, putting up vertical, wooden, roller and roman blinds as well as replacing a number of light fittings, assembling a CD case and putting a draught excluder on the door. He advised me on a number of issues including using low energy bulbs with dimmer switches. The allround service that Silver Saints provide is exceptional and quality of work second to none. The service I received from the team was fab, the guy on the end of the phone was polite and friendly and loo fixing guy was great! The job was an easy task, took mins yet was quite alot of £ to pay, the only down side to the company. Although for a minor emergancy they managed to get over within 48 hrs which was such a relief!! Found these guys online and was geniunely impressed. A flat rate of, I think, £45 an hour all in, no call out charges and the ability to deal with most things. This was a very small job but they came on time (in fact early), were polite and efficient. Will definitely use them again.

I booked Robin to reseal my bath at 9am and he was at my door on the dot. He quickly got to work clearing the old seal and was done by 11. The job was done very well and he cleaned up after himself well. I would highly recommend him for any similar jobs Also, the communication with Silver Saints was also very efficient and professional. Silver Saints hung a laundry pulley for me at the top of the landing, mended my loo seat, mended my daughters' chest of drawers and put in new light pulls in both my bathrooms. They were excellent, clean, tidy and were even early! And finished in the time we had pre agreed. I would recommend them.

I hired Peter from Silver Saints to hang a large(ish) mirror over the fireplace. He arrived a little early which a great surprise... seriously, about 30 minutes after I called the switchboard! Peter's work was done perfectly. He left the house nearly as clean as when he arrived and the mirror looks terrific. He was professional, courteous, quick, and friendly. Richard draught proofed 2 of our old Victorian windows. Did an EXCELLENT job, really pleased with his work. He left the place as clean as he found it. Exceptional service diagnosed problem with faulty shower within 30 minutes and returned as speedily as the postal strike would allow with the appropriate part to fix the problem. We are a disabled household and very much appreciate the care that was taken in providing a good safe service without it costing an arm and a leg. The handyman was efficient, polite and able and willing to answer any questions. I certainly will be using them again, in fact I have already discussed having them fit flourescent lighting.

0800handyman didn't answer the phone and didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my message! After a week of wiating I called Silver Saints and what a difference!! Responsive, friendly, courteous, I could even agree a specific time to suit me! None of this "some time in the morning" routine... I asked for 3pm and he arrived at 3pm! Jasper came round on the same day at the pre-agreed time and did a great job of hanging two heavy mirrors and a picture. He was quick, very professional and a nice bloke to have a chat with while he was working. I would trust Silver Saints with any jobs I need doing around the house. My first choice for sure!

I needed a fluorescent light fitting removed and a new fitting installed, and was recommended to Silver Saints after an unfortunate experience with another company (see below). The booking process was easy and customer-friendly. On the day, I had a call to warn me that the electrician was running a little late. One knows these things happen and if notified, it's not a problem - and good customer service. The electrician - Robin - was courteous and efficient, completing the job and checking that I was satisfied. The cost was as advised at the time of booking - no hidden extras. All very satisfactory! This was so different from the 'service' I received from a company that considers itself to be 'top dog' (and from whom, to be fair, I had received good service in the past). Their electrician began by checking my electrical installation, assessed it as not meeting current standards though not unsafe, refused to do the booked job but still charged me for an hour's work. This was reduced by half when I complained but still left a bad taste in the mouth. Thank you Silver Saints for restoring my faith in tradespeople!

Patrick fixed an annoying little plumbing problem-an air block in minutes, then also fixed a little leak in the kitchen. He was quick, honest and efficient and all at a good price.

I found Silver Saints through a Google search and was really lucky to have done so. The handyman arrived right on time and assembled the furniture that needed assembling in about 20 minutes. It's all still assembled, too, and very sturdy and well-done, so I can only say the service is excellent.

I phoned up Silver Saints on the basis of the many good reviews I read about them on this site and asked them to install a new ceiling fan and a couple of roman blinds. Roger was booked to come at 3 o’clock but turned up around 2:30 after a very nice phone call from Seamus saying he was running a bit ahead of schedule and was it OK with me if he came earlier than booked. Roger was polite and friendly and got straight to work on the fan. He even checked the old one first to make sure it was really the motor that had gone and not just an electrical fault that could be fixed quicker and more cheaply. The new fan was very tricky to put together but he still managed to get it installed in what I thought was a very reasonable amount of time (2 hours), and for much less than what it would have cost me to get a specialist electrical company to come round (those guys won’t even get out of their van for less than £150 – and they certainly wouldn’t have put up a couple of blinds while they were there!) I even had to run out to the shop to get batteries for the remote (which I stupidly hadn’t thought to do before hand) and felt perfectly at ease with leaving Roger alone in the house to get on with things. Once the fan was installed and he made sure it was working perfectly he got to work on the blinds and had them both up in the blink of an eye. He even offered to fix my dripping toilet for free! :-) I am very happy with the quality of the work, the friendliness of both Roger and Seamus, and the reasonable prices they charge for their work. I found this company via this website and was very impressed with the overall service. My shower tap broke and instead of them insisting they have a plumber come out to investigate (which would've cost me extra), they were happy for me to email a picture of the tap. They sourced a manufacturer the same day and ordered parts. As soon as the parts came in, they contacted me and arranged a same day repair. I have recommended this company to friends and will definitely use them again in the future if something else breaks or for any other jobs I can't do myself.

Called Silver Saints in to repair a toilet that leaked when flished. Richard appeared on-time and immediately got to work. After looking at the cause, he clearly explained what the cause was, how he would remedy it, and then proceeded to do just that. Very friendly and yet very professional at all times, he did a sterling job and cleaned up after himself. Hello, I required a handy man from Silver Saints because I was looking for a professional company to hang a very heavy piece of art on a bad wall. They had experience in this specific area so I booked them. On the phone I felt instantly confident and when Don arrived all my worried had gone away. The shower head broke over Xmas then we lost electricity and as the trip switch would not reset. I knew that most of the building trade were off until Monday morning and was doubtful that we could get anyone so fast. I emailed Silver Saints on the Sunday evening and left an answerphone message. Silver Saints sent Richard on very short notice who maanaged to assemble our flat pack bed that scarily came in 10 boxes!!! Also he fixed shelves to the wall, put up pictures and was generally brilliant!

Silver Saints sent Don to do some general handywork - the kind of jobs that are quite small but that you can't do yourself, but including some plumbing and, it turned out, electrical work. He was very good, the company's pricing was reasonable and clear, I was very happy with the service and would definitely use it again.

Richard did a great job single handedly of constructing the huge Ikea wardrobes I ordered. At first I was dubious whether one man could do the job, but he did it faultlessly and thoroughly , I also left him in the house happily for a couple of hours whilst I went to the gym . I would definately reccomend Silver Saints and probably wouldnt consider trying to build flat pack furniture myself in the future.

I had to deal with a rotten door that had become unhinged - as had I! - and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of Silver Saints. Excellent Service! I have used Silvers Saints about five times now and the have exceeded expectations everytime. Manfred, one of their handymen, did a fantastic job of fixing everything in my flat before it was due to be sold. He went to the additional trouble of sourcing several spare parts and picking them up and installing them for me. The range of expertise they possess is considerable with knowledge of plumbing, electrics and general fixing. Manfred managed to fix all the niggling problem in my apartment in minimal time with no fuss or hassle. Manfred believes that every problem is fixable and was true to his word. I recently used the services of Silver Saints. My 'handyman' was punctual, friendly and professional. He managed to sort out a plumbing problem two plumbers had previously failed to rectify. He worked effeciently and managed to complete my lengthy 'to do' list in a short space of time.
