Two years ago we moved to a house in Muswell Hill, we loved the house we moved to, but the decoration in some of the rooms needed drastic revitalisation. Egerton Designs came to our rescue and not only provided us with a beautiful new bathroom, but also helped us to resolve the colour schemes throughout the house; our living room was particularly challenging with its original Edwardian bright pink tiled fireplace. Our living room, hall and landing, bathroom, bedroom and spare bedroom are now all painted in cleverly chosen subtle colour tones that both pick up and enhance the original features of the house and help to bring light to each of these spaces and rooms. We would thoroughly recommend Egerton Designs not only for their interior design skills, but also for the great contacts they have with reliable and skilled builders, plumbers, tilers and other crafts people, who are in their trade because they enjoy their work.

Having recently purchased a large Garden Flat in Hampstead which had not had any work done on it for some 15 years, we were very much aware that we would need considerable help in organising the refurbishment. We interviewed several Interior Designers but were most impressed by Alexi Sugden of Egerton Designs who was enthusiastic, practical and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Over the course of the next three months, Alexi ran the whole project with great efficiency, organising electricians, plumbers, carpenters, cabinet makers tllers, roofers, painters and decorators in all the right orders whilst also helping us plan the décor, fittings, colour schemes, carpets, etc. She gad a huge range of fabric and colour choices and a seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of suppliers and specialist tradesmen, from lighting and bathroom fittings to valance makers and “llama wool” carpet fitters! The flat is now an absolute delight, largely due to her unstinting efforts (she would often travel to the site several times a week to oversee deliveries, take measurements and discuss progress and projections with the tradesmen) and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Egerton Designs to anyone considering an Interior Design project
