I engaged Aspect Maintenance to fix the problem I was having with my boiler as I was not getting enough hot water. I had previously had a plumber look at the problem when I was having my bathroom renovated and was advised that the problem was with the bottom element which would probably need replacing. I told the customer service rep this when I was booking the appointment and told them that I could provide all the necessary information (boiler make, brand etc) so the person they sent out could be prepared and fix it there and then rather than have to come out again. Shortly after the plumber arrived he told me that he did not know whether there was a problem with the hot water element in the boiler or if it was an electrical fault with the boiler panel and therefore I would have to get him to come back another day (but pay the charge of 85 pounds plus VAT) after checking myself if the electric panel was working. After pushing him to investigate further (I was not prepared to pay him to just tell me that a problem existed but not diagnose the actual problem), he managed to play around with the electric panel and as it was working fine, we deducted there was a problem with the element. Since he did not have the spare part with him (very disppointing given I had explicitly told the customer service person when I booked the appointment that I could provide all the information in advance), he would have to go back to the office and gather the relevant information and come back to me with a quotation for repair works. Following this appointment (for which I paid 85 pounds plus VAT for essentially a 10 minute job which he billed 1 hour for) I expected to at least receive a detailed quotation for fixing the boiler (parts and labour). This quotation never arrived. I subsequently wrote to Aspect detailing my dissatisfaction with the service they had provided. After unsatisfactory responses from their customer services, I wrote to their Operations Director. My final correspondence to their Operations Director was not responded to. Surprising for a seemingly "professional" company. I paid almost 100 pounds to Aspect and never received the quotation that I had requested. They say there is no call out charge but they basically charge you to just come out and have a look at the problem. Even if I had received the quotation I asked for, this would have been poor value for money. The worst part of the matter was the manner in which they handled my complaint on the matter. Not only have they failed to this day to produce the quotation that I requested , they basically decided to ignore my correspondence. A poor customer service experience indeed! I would avoid using them unless you are happy to fork out money for them just to "have a look" at something but not be able to fix it or if you want to pay them money and then be ignored when you are not satisfied when they don't deliver what you have paid for.

If you want to pay over the odds for average work then these people wont disappoint! The electrician's work was slow and because the company charge by the hour you can guarantee it will just go over the hour or 2 hour time period. The customer service was rude and insulting. I would not recommend this company.

They were absolutely hopeless. Failed to sort out my problem & then when I told them their work was unsatisfactory failed to keep 2 appointments. Turned up for the 3rd when it was pitch black so they couldn't do any thing. IMHO they are cowboys. Steer well clear.

Used their carpenter, doubt very much he was al qualified tradesman, very poor work not what you expect for the money!

Aspect Maintenance - Rips you Off Stay away!! I have an overflow which is leaking and got an engineer to come and check. They charged me 230 pounds for about 2 hours work. The problem re-ocurred two hours after the engineer had left. When I called them they said that they would have to charge me again for the engineer to come as the problem was not related to the initial call. An absolute lie! They obviously do not do their job properly so that you will have to pay for them to come back and finally fix it. STAY AWAY!!!!

I required to put 4 radiators of 6ft up . They quote me to include the carpentry frames needed for all four and the required replastering and sanding of the wall. What they actually done was putting three radiators up build only 2 frames and one of the radiator they put up still is not working. No sanding has been done.# After refusing to send someone to complete the job they charged my credit card minus a discount of 120 gbp ( from an invoice of 1700 gbp). According to them this discount cover three hours labour at a cost of 35 gbp plus vat. Problem is their hourly rate is closer to one hundred pound and certainly, it will cost me more than 120 gbp to finish their botched job. Any attempt to dicussed the problem with them has been ignore by them. These people are dishonest! stay clear from them if your value your money.

Advertise themselves as glaziers and then when you call them say they don't do windows ..........
