  • A job well done
    It was proving difficult to shut my bedroom door. It seemed like the whole frame had moved out of alignment. With a very old house I feared the worst, but an excellent repair was effected very speedily. I will recommend Aspect to my friends.

  • Consistently great work
    I have used Aspect for five different projects over the last three years. My family business in Canada is in high end residential construction. The firm is professional - they show up when they say, they do exactly what they say and leave everything clean at the end of each day. For the two larger projects the quality of work was exceptional - the standard of work completed was to the level the contractors would do on their own home. Aspect are not the lowest price but they provide a great deal of value for money. I rarely give scores above average so from my perspective this is a realistic high score! I would highly recommend Aspect and in fact I use only Aspect - They have earned my trust.

  • Surprised!
    I have just read the review below titled "cowboys" and can only say that my experiences of Aspect are the complete opposite! I have used this company for all sorts of work over the past 3 years in my properties from plumbing through to roofing and have always been impressed with their professionalism. I agree that there are cheaper companies out there but I haven't found anyone to match their standard of work and reliability.

  • Great company and half hourly rates
    Aspect fixed our boiler on a Sunday in February - the engineer was on time, friendly and charged by the half hour so I feel like it was value for money. I was really impressed and would recommend them.

    I have used this company numerous times and I think they are excellent. They have helped me with everything from a quick boiler fix to a full bathroom installation and over three years of using them I don't have a single complaint. I recommend them to people whenever I get the chance as finding reliable companies like this is not easy.

    I have been using Aspect for years and I absolutely love them. They have done more than 10 repair jobs and three larger quoted jobs (boiler install, new bathroom, roof repair) and every time they have been excellent. I tell everyone about them and will continue to do so.

  • Cowboys
    I hired these guys to repair my boiler. I told them that this problem had happened before, but they ignored. Then spent 20 mins re-arranging their tools, going to the van for more (not required) and wasting time. Tried to claim wrong time of arrival so I didn't sign so they charged me anyway. I'll see them in the small claims court. They also damaged my boiler so I had to replace part - sorry chaps, you failed on that one because the second contractor managed to fix your damage). I would avoid this lot like the plague- you have been warned. To add insult to injury, second firm I contracted repaired problem in under a minute so I didn't need to spend a weekend without heating or hot water. They are rogue traders plain and simple. AVOID!

  • Nightmare saved!
    The nightmare scenario! The prospective in-laws arriving for the first time from overseas and the toilets in the block back up! Thank you Aspect for sorting it out as quickly as you did and allowing the happy reunion to go as well as I could have hoped but didn't really expect!!!

    A water-pipe-burst in my kitchen on a Sunday night and was causing a mini flood. Aspect Maintenacne prompt and professional service spared me the consequences of a complete floodout of my accomodation. A great job by a great team.

  • Great service
    I recently employed Aspect to install our new kitchen and they were brilliant. Our job started exactly when they said it would and the guys made it completely hassle free for me. They also helped collect materials so everything ran on time. They were really friendly and explained each step along the way - I have been recommending them to all my friends - they even cleaned up all the dust and mopped the floor at the end of each day!

  • You Get What You Pay For
    You'll probably find cheaper, but if you do then I doubt if they'll turn up exactly when they say they will, spend at least an hour cleaning up at the end of each day, or come back at 11pm on a Sunday to rectify a minor issue. I use them for everything and would recommend them for anything.

    The Aspect electrician was excellent. He turned up on time and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Most importantly he cleared up after himself and was polite. I'd recommend Aspect to anyone looking to get a good quality job done quickly

  • So expensive!
    If you want to pay over the odds for average work then these people wont disappoint! The electrician's work was slow and because the company charge by the hour you can guarantee it will just go over the hour or 2 hour time period. The customer service was rude and insulting. I would not recommend this company.

    They were absolutely hopeless. Failed to sort out my problem & then when I told them their work was unsatisfactory failed to keep 2 appointments. Turned up for the 3rd when it was pitch black so they couldn't do any thing. IMHO they are cowboys. Steer well clear.

  • I have used Aspect this weekend for a plumbing problem and found the service to be spot on! I experienced no problems with the service from the call centre or the plumber that literally saved our weekend being ruined!! Would definitely recommend them and would argue that the above was a one-off – especially if you’ve received good service as you state in the past – as Aspect was recommended from a friend – who has also used them before!

  • I don't usually write reviews but I'm so impressed by the service from Aspect that I thought I would. We had a flooded kitchen and Aspect came round immediately, fixed the problem but most importantly cleaned the place till it was immaculate. I'm gobsmacked and wanted other people to know how good they are

  • I run a sizeable residential property portfolio and have found Aspect to be very reliable with regard to a variety of problems arising in my properties.   • Aspect Maintenance - Rips you Off Stay away!! I have an overflow which is leaking and got an engineer to come and check. They charged me 230 pounds for about 2 hours work. The problem re-ocurred two hours after the engineer had left. When I called them they said that they would have to charge me again for the engineer to come as the problem was not related to the initial call. An absolute lie! They obviously do not do their job properly so that you will have to pay for them to come back and finally fix it. STAY AWAY!!!!

  • I required to put 4 radiators of 6ft up . They quote me to include the carpentry frames needed for all four and the required replastering and sanding of the wall. What they actually done was putting three radiators up build only 2 frames and one of the radiator they put up still is not working. No sanding has been done.# After refusing to send someone to complete the job they charged my credit card minus a discount of 120 gbp ( from an invoice of 1700 gbp). According to them this discount cover three hours labour at a cost of 35 gbp plus vat. Problem is their hourly rate is closer to one hundred pound and certainly, it will cost me more than 120 gbp to finish their botched job. Any attempt to dicussed the problem with them has been ignore by them. These people are dishonest! stay clear from them if your value your money.

  • I've used Aspect many times now, and they are a great resource. They have done big jobs and small jobs for us and they've always been fairly priced (though handyman services are cheaper for smaller jobs). Particularly notable is their excellent phone and pre-quote service and very good response times. The only thing I would criticise is Aspect's joinery - it's actually carpentry. They are fine for basic sash windows or hanging standard doors, disappointing if you want a really quality job (ie matching existing woodwork or having cabinets made from scratch). Please hire yourselves a good craftsman joiner Aspect!

  • Tom from Aspect did some decorating in our offices over the weekend. Left him with the key and let him get on with it. By Monday the work was complete to a really high standard and he had cleaned up after himself. Perfect.

  • Used Aspect twice now, came round at very short notice - did an excellent job at a fair price and top quality service from the customer service on the phone to the actual plumbing work. My wife also used Aspect recently, she works in lettings and she was very appreciative of the work they did at very late notice in an extreme emergency - even dropping the house key off at the restaurant she was eating at. Definitely use again.
