Value for money of Craftsman Cladding Limited replies:Everyone at Craftsman Cladding would like to apologise for the delay in responding to our customer above. After completing the installation it was reported that the roof was still leaking and required inspection. We returned and noted the faults but had to contact the manufacturer to find out why the system had failed. We then returned and carried out work that the manufacturer had advised. We were then notified some time later that the roof was still leaking. At the time this was reported, we were receiving over 200 calls per day due to hurricane force winds that had caused damage throughout the country. We regret that the complaint was not actioned immediately, but have since returned and applied an entire new system onto the roof.Reviewed by Keith Clague on Aug 28, 2010 Work carried out: Gutter and Roof Maintenance Date of job: 23.08.2010 Fitting of roofline barge boards, soffits, gutters and downpipes To reduce the maintenance burden, I had Craftsman cladding fit UPVC barge boards, soffits, gutters and downpipes to my 20 year old house. of Craftsman Cladding Limited replies:
Craftsman Cladding were instructed to carry out repairs to a new tiled roof that Mrs McLellan recently had installed. Mrs McLellans complaint is regarding one particular ridge tile that is sitting very slightly off line due to the way that the original roofers had finished the tiling. We re-sited the tile to the best of our ability but agree it is not perfect. We carried out specific repairs on the roof but without complete re-roofing, the installation will never look perfect due to the previous contractors workmanship. This was not an option due to the costs already incurred by Mrs McLellan and paid the previous contractor.
