Fox & Co arrived on time for the estimate and I was impressed by the way they explained everything that was required as the estimate proceeded. The job of replacing the bathroom was given to them and they did a grand job and their tiling was spot. Would definitely use them again.

Very pleased with the fast response and professional service. Micheal the corgi engineer turned up and repaired our boiler and even wore plastic slippers to protect our carpets as it was a wet day!

Great stuff boys. Had been told previously by a large nation company that the boiler was beyond repair and parts were no longer in stock, but Fox's not only repaired the boiler without the need for parts, but said it would most probably outlast most condensing boilers and that parts were most definitely still available - honest, reliable and a genuine human being, Good on yer.

After a good first visit and being very helpful I tried to arrange a follow up call so they could complete the job. Well, they failed to show up 4 times in a row in as many weeks which meant that I was without and still am without hot water. You can't get hold of Michael who is the main guy on his mobile as he NEVER answers it and even if you text him (as per his voicemail) he still doesn't get back to you. I even phoned the office who had booked me in who said they could not get hold of him. Am really ticked off with these guys - please DO NOT USE THEM even with their current 5 star rating !

Fox & Co carried out a power flush of this gentleman's flat as requested. We also removed some radiators and capped off the pipe work. The work was fully completed. I stress the point, fully completed and at the end of the job the gentleman and his mother expressed their satisfaction with our work and paid us in full. During the course of the works being undertaken the client expressed some concerns he was having with the boiler. We asked the client to book an appointment for us to return and effect a repair which he did for the following week. Regrettably we were unable to attend the following week due to a large boiler installation over running. A call was made, but no answer received, so a text was sent. The client called during the following week to book an appointment and was told a provisional booking would be made but had to be confirmed. The booking was not confirmed, because as expected, we had work on the day requested by the client. The client later called and had a heated discussion with the lady who runs our office, which left her quite distressed. The client was sent a text stating we would be unable to fit his job in and to please find another firm to carry out the works. The client again tried to book us in to do the work and it was at this point I ceased responding to his calls. In my brief business dealings with this gentleman I found him to be a perfectly civilized and decent person and likewise his mother, but I do reserve the right to choose my work and also for whom I work for and in this case I chose to decline the additional work.
My comments are that Fox and Co were very pleasant and efficient to deal with. I found Carmen to be intelligent, courteous and very helpful on the phone and I was grateful for Michael's prompt response initially and conscientious keeping me posted when he got delayed the day of his second visit to replace the part we had been waiting for. The boiler is now nice and quiet and the towel rail in my bathroom works for the first time since we moved in! One satisfied customer! Thanks again. Best, Julia.

Fox and Co were exceedingly helpful when called in to repair a leaking boiler on a Sunday. The damage was contained, the mess, which had spread to my neighbour's below was also cleared up and a new boiler was installed the next day. One further point should be mentioned, they were the tidiest and cleanest workers ever to enter our flat and left it tidier than they found it, very, very, impressed with their professionalism and thoughtfulness. Michael and his team were employed to fit a new combi boiler and remove all the old elements of the water tank and old sytle boiler. They completed the work on time and left the place spotless (even washing up!). They continue to come back to fix little bits that need finishing. My only issue would be getting hold of Michael by phone or getting a response from the email. This can be frustrating at times, I am currently waiting on a quote for a bathroom refit but if I wait any longer I may look elsewhere. Overall they are a professional outfit, good rates and trustworthy but be patient if you require quotes or contact back swiftly.

Apologies, but when working I can't always pick up the phone. I receive a large number of calls each day and try my best to answer. Callers can always call Carmen in the office, who usually picks up within seconds, unless engaged on another call. My telephone statistics show my daily calls average out at 63 per day with only 8 missed calls which isn't too bad! See my blog for more about this thread.
Michael, you've been a great help as doctor to my old and temperamental boiler. You've been reliable and helpful and efficient and I'd certainly call on you again (but not too soon, I hope!)

Very please with Michael and his helper. We called him out because we were without heating and hot water and had a dripping boiler. Michael quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Unfortunately the backup heater wasn't working but Michael returned the next day, a Saturday, to fit a new heater and ensure we had hot water. The boiler was fixed a couple of days later and is working as we would expect. We found Michael to be professional, charming, thoughtful (took his shoes off when going upstairs) and very child safety aware, we would fully recommend him.

Great service from Fox Plumbing. New boiler, new bathroom and tiling. Kept my house immaculately clean during the work, even replaced the milk when it ran out. Highly recommended.
