Speedy service and great value. Our broken guttering was causing a nightmare and needed to be sorted out asap. Fortunately Jon came around almost instantly and fixed it (up four floors!). I was really impressed and have recommended him to a friend already.

I had my windows cleaned recently by John from Kandoo. The job took twice as long as anticipated, due to problems with our secondary glazing etc, but John stuck to his original low estimate, even though I offered to raise the fee. The result is absolutely perfect - smear-free windows from top to bottom. I am really delighted and will certainly be using Kandoo in future.

Despite Jon being very charming on the telephone, after two weeks of broken promises we decided to go elsewhere to get our roof fixed. Apparently the £90.00 agreed was not worth the effort of coming and doing the work .

Dear David, I did say I would come out to you this week but the week is not yet over! My wife was admitted to hospital for 2 days this week to undergo surgery so I have been delayed in getting over to you. You called me over the extremely wet bank holiday weekend to which you were warmly greeted. A few days later I came over to view the problem with your roof. On my arrival you informed me that things seemed to be fine now. Before leaving I thought it only sensible and especially since I came out especially to see you to at least have a look. The problem was diagnosed. Photographs were taken and emailed over to you immediately. We like to do that so at least you can see whats really going on up there and in addition you can store them for reference or even obtain additional quotes with them. I appreciated that you did not want to spend additional money on your property seeing as though you were in the process of selling it. You appeared to be a nice man so taking into account your situation I offered to do the work for a small fee of £90 including materials. We agreed that I would return during dry weather since cement work was required. We have experienced a mixture of wet and dry weather this week so this has hindered us in carrying out the work. My 'promise' (singular) was not yet broken and therefore you have 'jumped the gun' somewhat. In future I would suggest, out of courtesy pick up the telephone and give thought before you write something publicly as this could be damaging not only to the recipient but also to yourself. The first promise you made was to do the work "within the week", you did not. When we phoned you to find out why you said that you were busy but would definitely do the work "by Thursday" (5th June), you did not. I think that it is "courteous" to keep your promises. We phoned you once, I think it would have been "courteous" for you to phone me to explain, and apologise.

Very reliable and efficient service. Repaired roof damage to a very high standard at an extremely good price. I would certainly use again in the future would recommend Kandoo to anyone. Very impressed all round!

Having previously complained on this site about problems getting Kandoo to start on agreed work - a review which seems to have mysteriously vanished - I am pleased to report that the work eventually carried out was of a very high standard. Jon's roofing in particular was thorough and very fairly priced and he has a truly brilliant decorator. Added to this, the team were uniformly considerate and easy to have around. I will be using Jon again. I suspect his unreliable scheduling is due to high demand.
