I am a tennat of a Flat in Soutampton, I rented via Michael Laurie Magar since May 2006. I have lots of serious problems, like the boiler toilett broken, and only after Southampton City Council, who are the are in chrge of Wyndham Court, was involved, Michael Laurie Magar bother to do the repair that was last year, still they havent done the decoration, floor, repairs, They are a rubbish Letting Management Company, you never speak to anybody in charge, they never bother to return pur calls, only bother to collect the rent. Bad Company, Rubbish Landlords, Very greedy, put residents including children at risk by not bothering to d what the Law, Tenancy Aggreement signed said. Very poor rubbish company and bad staff

I currently own in excess of 24 flats in central London where Michael Laurie Magar had taken over (about a year ago) day to day management duties after a long suffering experience. During this time, we have found them completly approachable and extrmily efficient. They even have an emergency out of hours service that actually picks the phone up!! There attnetion to detail has so far been the best ive experienced and wouldnt hesitate in reccommending them.

I am please that Mr. John Harley have a good experience with Michael Laurie Magar, perhaps have to do with the good £ profits they are making with his 24 flats, also because they're in London. In our case we have a very poor management service, maybe because we are outside London, but repairs, DIY, that in the Tenancy Agreement stated the Landlord will do , they have not been done yet. Also when they moved offices, nobady from the company informed us in writing about the new address, we found it via The Council. The Tradesmen they send were rude, left the job imcomplete, now the flat have not hot water, I dont know if they will send anybody to fix it. I have small children at home, needs good standards in the flat, things must be working, if they can send a decent property maintenece from London, sure they can find a good one in Southampton, they are hundreads local maintenance companies. Is the Landlord duty to carry repairs, keep property up to date, not the tenants, ours is to pay our rent on time, to keep the property in good condition, and it makes a great different to have a polite, helpful, easy to communicate Landlords, in our case Michael Laurie Margar have failed us.
