Much progress has been made despite the awful weather and the stone will all be in place today. These photographs show the works up to Friday and hope you will start to see the patio area taking shape:-

Levels are checked from one area to the next. Due to the shape of the patio it has to be laid in separate section to ensure that the falls away from the existing wall are correct.

The difficult rear access to the garden was overcome by the use of the eazybarra which helped us move the stone with the minimum of difficulty in a very short space of time.

The front stones are laid but not bedded at this stage ready for the holes to be drilled to receive the LED lights

More pictures tomorrow of the finished patio (jointing will take place later in the week as our polymeric compound needs a dry day)

We have now been on site for a week ripping up, setting out and preparing the sub base for the patio. The site is now ready to accept the stone from www.simplypaving.com
We will provide site photos throughout next week of the work in progress so that you can see the development. Here are the photos up to today from this weeks work.
We'd love to hear from you with your comments on both the contemporary design and the materials utilised.

We recently completed a redesign for a large family home in Camberley. Our brief was to provide a central grassed area bordered in Indian Sandstone with raised beds for planting constructed from railway sleepers.
We source our sandstone from www.landscaping-supplies.net who are based in Southampton. They have a great range of stone at a good price and we chose the Sahara Yellow for this project.
The railway sleepers are reclaimed and these were sourced from Jubilee Building Supplies www.jubileebuildingsupplies.co.uk who also supply to the general public as well as trade. They are located just down the road from our head office in Bracknell.
The turf was supplied and installed by Lee Wilcox of Warfield Turf, www.warfieldturf.co.uk

We are nearly a year on from our first venture into the world of pub landscaping and are looking forward to seeing the development of the new courtyard we created for Cross Oak Inns PLC www.theostrichcolnbrook.co.uk. The Ostrich was a challenge in the nicest possible way. We had to bring contemporary styling to the second oldest pub in the UK without it looking out of place.
The Brett cobbles we used for the installation complemented the existing stone and the polymer pointing saved a large chunk of labour costs for the client.
